MARIANA INCARNATO

BIO

Mariana Andrea Incarnato is Degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina.and has a Master's degree in in "Design and management of social policies and programs" and a Master's degree in and a Postgraduate Diploma in "Interventions with families and children in situations of social difficulty and child protection. Maltreatment and abuse in childhood" by the AUB..

She is founder of Asociación Civil Doncel, and was its Executive Director from 2010 to 2019. She also founded the Latin American Network of Protection Graduates, which brings together 12 countries as members.

As an activist committed to the rights of children and adolescents without parental care in the region, Mariana was one of the main drivers of the Assisted Egress Law, in force nationally in Argentina since 2017. Currently, she works as a consultant for agencies such as UNICEF and advisor in the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires.

In addition, she teaches in the Master's Program in Youth Studies at FLACSO Argentina andwas elected as an Ashoka social entrepreneur in 2012 (See profile).
